Billing, Cancellation & Refund Terms
These terms supplement the Terms of Service and govern paid RELAVANZ subscriptions and capacity purchased through supported RELAVANZ checkout flows.
1. Purchase availability and activation
RELAVANZ uses Stripe for supported paid checkout and subscription billing. A paid plan or capacity purchase becomes active only after the applicable checkout or billing event is successfully completed and confirmed by RELAVANZ. Merely viewing or selecting a plan does not charge you or activate paid features.
2. Price and recurring billing disclosure
Before an initial paid charge, the purchase flow must show the plan or capacity selected, current price, billing interval, material limits, and recurring nature of the charge. Current V1 paid subscriptions are designed around monthly billing unless the purchase flow expressly states another interval.
By completing a recurring purchase, you authorize RELAVANZ and its payment processor to charge the disclosed recurring amount and applicable taxes at the stated interval until cancellation takes effect.
3. Stripe payment processing
RELAVANZ uses Stripe to process supported paid subscriptions and capacity purchases. Stripe may collect payment-method and billing information under its own terms and privacy practices. RELAVANZ stores billing identifiers, subscription state, invoice/payment status, plan/capacity records, and related metadata rather than full payment-card numbers.
4. Upgrades and added capacity
A paid upgrade or added capacity does not become an entitlement merely because you select it. Paid access becomes effective only after the applicable payment or other authorized billing event is successfully confirmed by RELAVANZ's billing system.
Article, Local, and Commerce capacity may be scoped to the Workspace, location, or connected store described in the purchase flow.
5. Usage and overages
RELAVANZ uses plan and capacity limits rather than silent automatic overages for the commercial features covered by the current V1 entitlement model. If you exhaust a capacity, RELAVANZ may pause new discretionary work and present an available upgrade or capacity option rather than silently charging an unapproved overage.
Current Article allowances and Article packs do not roll unused capacity into later billing periods unless the purchase terms expressly state otherwise.
6. Cancellation
You can request cancellation through the supported Workspace billing controls. Under the current commercial design, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period rather than immediately, unless the purchase flow or applicable law requires a different result.
You may reverse a scheduled cancellation before it becomes effective when the product provides that control. Cancellation stops future renewal; it does not erase account, Site, or historical evidence records by itself.
7. Downgrades
Downgrades are scheduled for the end of the current paid period. If the new plan allows fewer active Sites or members, RELAVANZ may require the Workspace Owner to choose which Sites remain active and may limit excess members after the change takes effect. Historical records are preserved rather than silently deleted.
8. Add-on removal
Removal of Local, Commerce, or other recurring capacity is scheduled according to the current billing period. Removing a base add-on may also end capacity blocks that depend on it. Existing results and history may remain readable after recurring work ends.
9. Failed payments and grace
If a payment fails, RELAVANZ may retry the payment, notify the Workspace Owner, and place the subscription into the current 7-day payment-recovery period. During that period RELAVANZ may pause new paid or discretionary work while preserving existing history and already legitimate required assurance work.
If payment remains unresolved after the recovery period, RELAVANZ may reduce the Workspace to the available Free-equivalent access non-destructively. Historical records remain subject to normal retention rather than being destroyed because of a payment failure.
10. No-refund policy and RELAVANZ-caused issues
Except where applicable law requires otherwise, paid subscription charges are non-refundable. Cancelling a subscription does not create a refund or prorated credit for unused time. Cancellation stops the next renewal and the paid plan remains available through the end of the current paid period, unless RELAVANZ is legally required to apply a different result.
RELAVANZ may, in its discretion, consider a refund when a material billing or service issue was caused by RELAVANZ or when the customer can substantiate a material RELAVANZ billing or service problem. A customer requesting that review must contact hello@relavanz.com and provide enough information for RELAVANZ to investigate. This discretionary review is not a promise that a refund will be issued.
11. Taxes
Prices may exclude taxes unless stated otherwise. RELAVANZ or Stripe may calculate, collect, or remit taxes where required. You remain responsible for taxes that applicable law places directly on you.
12. Plan and price changes
RELAVANZ may change prices, included capacity, or future plan structure prospectively. We will provide notice required by law or the applicable agreement before a change affects an existing paid subscription. A Pricing-page change does not automatically rewrite these legal terms unless it also changes the contractual mechanics described here.
13. Free trials and app-store purchases
RELAVANZ does not currently offer a time-limited free trial that automatically converts into a paid subscription, and current V1 paid subscriptions are not sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play. If either purchase model is introduced, the applicable purchase flow and these terms will be reviewed before launch.
